teechart datasource problem

im playing around with teechart on report builder enterprise. but the
datasource on the teechart component is empty. so i tried to put some
regular data-aware components on the report and everything seem to be
working ok. except for the teechart datasource. what am i doing wrong? i
cant find any solutions for this problem on the help files.

Please see the ReportBuilder Help in the ReportBuilder Reference | TeeChart
| Delphi X... section for a chart showing the supported features of TeeChart
based on the version you are using. If you are using the version of
TeeChart that comes packaged with Delphi, with Delphi 6 or 7, you cannot
assign a data pipeline to a newly created data-aware TeeChart and you cannot
modify an existing data-aware TeeChart created with previous versions of RB
and TeeChart. You will need to upgrade to a newer version of TeeChart to
enable these capabilities.
