Print to file does not output sub report

I have
ppRep.devicetype :=dttextfile
pprep.TextFileType:=ftcomma;

I only get the main report in the text file and not the subreport.
if I do ppRep.devicetype :='ExcelFile' from extradevices I get both.
Is this normal?

Sorry, but subreports are not supported when printing to a text file.
