printing problem
i have a very weird one that is confusing me to no end:
when some of my users go to print to a HP 4050 printer a message shows
asking them to load B5 paper. If they hit the green light button it will ask
if they want to use 'plain' paper. they hit the button again and the report
will print to about 3/4 of the page cutting off the rest of the report. The
majority of my users are fine.
any ideas at all are appreciated.
thanks

machine and i searched her registry for 'ReportBuilder', 'RBuilder', 'RB'
with no luck. We have tried re-adding the network printer to her machine,
having her print to another printer on the network, delete the instance of
our application and re-add it. All were dead ends.
Again the core problem is that when she prints the printer asks her to load
B5 paper into tray one. If she hits the 'GO' button on the printer it will
ask her if she wants to use 'Plain paper', she hits GO again and the report
will print to about 3/4 of the page. If she prints anything from word/pdf
etc everything is fine.
Other users using the same application printing the same reports to the same
printer do not have this problem.
Suggestions?
Be sure you are using the latest printer driver for the HP 4050. Be sure
that your Report.PrinterSetup.PaperName property is not set to "Envelope B5"
as this will try to chang the default paper used by the printer. You can
access this property from the object inspector. You might also want to
check to see that the default paper type is not set to "B5" in the advanced
settings of the printer driver software.
