Printing Problem: Only first Copy is Printed
Having a report with more than one page there's a problem in the following
case:
A simple report, one pipeline, some TppDBTexts and a TppDBRichtext in a
detail band. The PassSetting property is set to psTwoPass. Previewing and
scanning through all pages and printing them all together will not cause any
problem. But when the print button is clicked on the preview form and in the
following print dialog one page (e.g. page 1) ist selected to be printed
with copies set to 2 ore more, then only one copy is printed. The other
copies seem to remain in the print queue but would never been printed. The
printer icon is remaining in the task bar but nothing happens until the
application is closed. Then the printer icon dissapears without any further
action.
This happens on Win XP with Epson and Brother laser printers. And custumers
are reporting the same on Win 98 with several printers. We are using RB 7.02
and Delphi 5 but our tests with Delphi 7 are showing the same problem. We can
easily send a little Delphi project for testing.
