Hi !

I want to do my own "preview form". I want to use the "Outline" tab and the
"search text" features. Is there an example downlodable somewhere ? The demo
with ReportBuilder show everything except these 2 features.

Here are a couple examples that may help you. By "creating your own preview
form" I assume you want to create a custom preview form. These examples
show how to customize the outline and text search features in a the preview
form.

Hi Alex,

The examples I sent before required that you have DADE installed (RB Pro or
Enterprise). Here are some modified versions that should work with the
Standard version of ReportBuilder.

Hi !

Now examples work, but they didn't ansewered my questions... If i do my own
preview form, how I can add an outline and a search options ? Is there a way
to automatically add the to my custom preview form ?

Hi Nico !

Everything went fine for the creation of the Outline, but SearchTips702.zip
didn't helped me. Some of the example in the ZIP didn't work (miss some
files) and the ones who worked didn't helped me to solve my questions (how
to add the search features to a custom preview form).

Hi Alex,

The SearchTips examples I sent you seemed to work fine for me. Check out
the ReplaceFormAndAddSearch example. You will need to do something similar
to this to get the search features in your custom preview form. Take a look
at the myPrvDlg.pas file included in the .zip I sent. This is what you are
going to have to emulate in your preview form.
