Report with optional detail information

How do you make a report with differing height detail lines when a field is
blank--something that looks like:

Joe $100
Sam $100
Fred $200
(overdrawn)
Sally $200


instead of

Joe $100

Sam $100

Fred $200
(overdrawn)
Sally $200

    Oh, I see you have to both set the band height to DynamicHeight and make
    everything empty also invisible.
