Use own Images in the designer

edited August 2003 in General
Is it possible to change the images at the reportdesigner?

At German the word for 'BOLD' is 'FETT' and that's why I would like to have
a Image with a 'F' (for 'ITALIC' it's the same)

    Hi Christine,

Try using the Borland Image Editor to access the ppIDEBmp.res file located
in the \RBuilder\Lib\... directory. Inside this file are all the bitmaps
used in the Report Designer. If you need to change the Bold button, check
    out the PPBOLD file.

I have changed the image in the .res file, but the new image isn' t shown.
Do I have to compile anything new or to change anything else?

    Hi Christine,

Make sure that you saved the ppIDEBmp.res file with your new icon in place
of the PPBOLD icon. Then make sure your library path is pointed only toward
the \RBuilder\Lib\... directory, and rebuild your project. This seems to
work fine for me. You shouldn't have to change anything else. Remember
this will only change the ReportDesigner at runtime.
