One Question: I did not understand for what this could be helpful?

{x$DEFINE UseDesignPath} {remove the 'x' to use the design-time settings of
Database object on this form}

My environment is
Delphi 5
RB Ent. 7.03
Oracle via BDE

Hi Nicolas,

This feature was included a while ago just to demonstrate how to set the
database path in code at runtime rather than using the Object Inspector in
Delphi. It does not change the functionality of the End-User demos in any
way.
