Linking a Dataset to a DBChart control in the Report Control

I am using Delphi 6 Update pack 2, Report Builder 6.03 and Tee Chart 4.04
and have the following problem:

I am trying to generate a graphical report using the DBChart control in the
Report control.

I have a Dataset Control linked to a Datasource control linked to a Data
Pipeline linked to my Report Control.

When setting up the Series of the chart I cant select any Datasource for my
report. It seems none of the controls(Dataset, Pipeline etc.) is visible
from within the report control but when I add the DBChart control onto my
form the Dataset control is visible to select as a Datasource for my Chart.

Is there any reason for this ? I would like to use the DBChart control
within a report and not on a form.

Hi Francois,

ReportBuilder has some limitations when using Tee Chart 4.04. Please see
the ReportBuilder help on TeeChart for a list of these limitations. In the
ReportBuilder Help, go to the ReporBuilder Reference | TeeChart | Delphi 6
|... section. To solve this problem, you will need to purchase a registered
version of TeeChart.
