Margins vs Control placement question
Hello,
What effects do margins have on control placement in the designer. In other
words, what would happen if a control was placed top 0, left 0, and the
margins are set at .5"? Will the control be cut off when printed? What is
the best practices regarding margins?
Thanks in advance

Best case scenario is that your component will be cut off when printing.
Sometimes the report engine will try to overflow to the next page thinking
that it is out of room on the current page, essentially giving you infinite
pages. This will happen when you place components outside the printable
area of the printer. Try to find out the printable area of the printer you
use and keep your margins withing that area. Then if all report components
are positioned in this area, you should be fine.
