QUERY: Visual style of End user designer and modern look of app. on Windows XP?

Hi,

are there any way how to change visual design of the end user report
designer to match current Windows XP theme styles. I know that you are
enhancing XP support but it doesn't give still correct look. Our customers
are asking for consistent layout of all forms which they uses, but we are
unable to modify the design of Report Builder. Your product is great in
functionality but it begins to loose in visual appearance.

For example look at the following screenshot (

correctly XP themes on Windows XP it looks nice, but then you will see the
report designer and it looks ugly and unprofessionally old. (menu styles,
button's icons, dialogs - missing transparency in Page setup dialog etc.)

It should be nice, if we could use some of the most known custom toolbar
packages and button glyphs. If we own licence for Developer Express
ExpressBars, we want to use them in report designer too. Your product is
very strong in the custom modification and extensibility in report
generating, data access, coding etc., but the visual part of Report Builder
is hardcoded and we have no way how to change it.

Please think about it.

I don't know how many of Report Builder users have the same feeling as I
have, so if somebody else agree with me, please reply to this message.

Hi Petr,

Although it is possible, it would be very difficult to create a new
designer. This is what would need to be done to successfully replace the
current toolbar in the ReportBuilder Designer. Thank you for your
suggestions.
