Printing on LBP660 is expanded on reports
Hi!
In my application I am printing some forms with font type Arial 10. I have
tested my application with some various printers, like HP LaserJet 2100,
Mita DP560, HP 930, etc. on various Operating systems, ranging from Windows
95 to Windows XP. Every report printed was great, characters are on their
designated positions but today I had a problem with Canon LBP-660 on Windows
98. Printed report had all the data I wanted but everything is expanded in x
and y direction so unless I correct the report at my work it is not possible
to print data on designated areas. Expansion is approx. 10% in both
directions. I have used the most recent driver for this (GDI) printer.
I think that there must be something else wrong than with Report Builder (I
use 7.02 pro). Does anybody have any ideas?
Many thanks in advance and best regards to all,
Goran

ReportBuilder uses the same Windows API calls to communicate with every
printer driver being used. If this is working correctly on some printers
and not on the Canon, the problem more than likely is related to the driver.
Try testing with a different computer/OS and see if that helps. You may
also want to check the features provided with your driver to make sure there
is not a way to change some settings to get the results you want.
