Problems using the print from preview

Question 1:

When printing the report with device type set to Printer all is working
correctly. However, when setting the device type to Screen, the report
displays in the preview ok, then when attempting to print from the preview,
the output is not the same. In fact, the output is totally different, almost
no data is being printed. Any ideas as to what could cause this?


Question 2:

I'm using the report writer to do some letter type forms. The detail band
contains the letter verbiage along with information from the data. Again,
works fine when printing to the printer but from the preview/print it
generates about 10,000 blank pages. Something is going on with the
preview/print. Any ideas?

    Additional info regarding question 1

    The output when printing to paper from the preview is only printing the
    summary band. In this band I generally show TppDBCalc components. These are
    the only thing printing on paper and they only show the display format, no
    numeric values. Again, the screen preview looks fine but when trying to
    print from the preview is when things blow up.
