Nico: I didn't see anyplace in the Report Wizard to turn on grid lines. That's what I need to do - show the data as a grid, as in the 1st tutorial with the Data Tree. I don't think the Wizard would help me anyway, because I need to shorten the header labels from the field names. I was just wondering if there is any way to turn on the field grid and label grid properties in a hand-designed report.
I'm sorry, I was mistaken. The Data Tree just draws rectangles around the text elements with it's dimentions of the controlbox that the dbText is in. You could draw these rectangles manually in code or perhaps check out on of the third party grid tools available from our website in the friends | rcl... section. http://www.digital-metaphors.com.
