Print to File Abort Question
I have a report that performs an export to a comma delimited file
(using the TExtra devices I think). I default the file type to the
comma delimited, and default the check box to print to file and also
default the File Name to the file that I want to export to. My
question is, if I select a file from the dialog button and the file
exists already I am given a warning message, but if I type the file
name in the file name box and the file exists already, no warning is
given. Is there a way to display a warning in this case or is this a
question for the people that wrote the TExtraDevices?

I am currently researching this to see if it is possible to fix with a
simple patch. I'll let you know when I get more information.

received a very strange message related to this from somebody. The message
did not look like it came from the report writer people. Thanks again.
I have not sent you anything since the last post regarding this issue. I
did however create a patch for you that gives an overwrite message when the
OK button is clicked in the print dialog. Please send an e-mail to
support@digital-metaphors.com requesting the patch from me and I'll get it
right out to you.
