How to combine 2 files

Thanks to Nico, we are now producing a pdf with multiple child rpeorts
on 1 page.
Our boss has now asked for our report to be combined with an Excel file
another dept is sending him, so that our report is the 2nd page of that
file.

Can anyone tell me either:
1 - How to add our report output to an .xls file (maybe as another tab
sheet)

or

2 - If we write the Excel file out to pdf, how can we combine the 2
pdf's into 1, so that our boss receives only 1 email attachment each day?

    Hi Douglas,

    I do not believe there are any ReportBuilder add-ons to merge two PDF files
    but I did a quick Google search on the topic and found numerous PDF merger
    utilities including the following link which gave free source that may help
    get you on the right track to coding something yourself. If this does not
    help, I would suggest trying out a few comercial merge utilities and finding
    which one suits your needs the best.
