Duplicate entries in Outline

edited October 2003 in General
Hi,

I have a fairly basic report with a single grouping - every group is printed
on a new page ("Keep Together" is selected, but not "New Page" (the page is
just too small to fit 2 groups in)) . My report outline now shows double
entries for every group that was moved to the next page (as you would get if
it was created on "OnPrint" instead of "OnGenerate")

Is there a way to re-generate the outline, or what may the problem be? I
use a custom preview form, so I create the OutlineViewer myself.....

Thank you.

I tried in a small demo to reproduce it but could not. A demo of my sample
    is here:

    www.retireneeds.com/files/GroupingOutlineIssue.zip

There's 2 values to enter: # of groups and # of items in a group. Can you
reproduce it with this demo--or some other demo?

YES! I managed to reproduce the problem in your demo (took some time, I
    must confess!)

    1) Add a Region to the GroupFooterBand, and set its height to 1.4 (so that
it will force the next group to start on a new page)
    2) Make the PrintHeight of the GroupFooterBand = phDynamic

You will get duplicates in your outline (Group #2 is shown to be on page 1
    and 2)

Now that know what causes the problem I might find a workaround, but if
there is a easy way, please let me know!
