2 SubReports on different pages

edited October 2003 in General
First of all: I checked the techtips pagination tip but can't seem to get it
right:

I have 2 subreports and I want 2 resulting pages: on the first page
subreport 1 and on the second page subreport 2. I do not want subreport 1
to appear also on the second page. This must be a simple thing right? But
I can't find it. Do I need to use groups as outlined in the techtips, in
which group do I put what?

Thanks in advance,

Stijn Verrept.

    Hi Stijn,

Instead of using groups, try simply placing two Section style subreports on
your main report inside the detail band. This will give you the two pages
    you are after.

    Thanks Nico, already much better.

Now the header prints on page 1 with nothing else on the page, then
subreport2 on page 2 and subreport1 on page 3. Is it possible to let the
header appear on every page so I would get 2 pages with first header and
    then the subreport?

How can I choose in which order the subpreports are printed?

    Hi Stijn,

    1. To get the header to print on each page, I would disable the main report
header and make duplicate headers for each subreport you have.

    2. You will need to change the ZOrder of the subreports to get them to
display in the order you need. Simply right click over the SubReport
component and either "Bring To Front" or "Send To Back" in the order you
    would like them to display.
