Speed problems 1 vs 2 DBText.. DEMO included

Hey

I have made a small simple demo, that shows the speed difference with 1 and
2 fields on my report, the speed diff is ca. 4x ;( why??

I have made it against a MSSQL Server, the database needs two tables with
fields
Reservations with Referencenumber, Firstname, LastName
Customer with CustomerNumber

Just fill in garbage, then run the program, have made a BDE Connection and a
dbExpress connection to see if it the DBEngine.. it is not...

Please help..

Hi Klaus,

Are you able to recreate this behavior in our SQL Server Demo application
located in the RBuilder\Demos\EndUser Databases\SQL Server 7\... directory?
I was unsuccessful in getting your demo application to run, but in testing
with our demo, I did not see a speed change with one or many dbText
components in my report. Perhaps create a minimal example that I could run
or alter the RB Demo so that I can see this behavior.
