RB 7.02 and Oracle CLOB

Is RB updated with new Oracle fields?
LONG is an obsolete type, do you know?

Launching report explorer (RB 7.02, Oracle 9.2)
using as item.template a CLOB field raises an error.
The error goes away if we use a LONG column, but we would like
to use the new type... do you agree?
