> This question was answered in an earlier post...
I sent the email 3 or 4 days ago. That is why I am posting now, as support has not responded.
This has happened with other requests also. I seem to get better responses here.
And BTW the question was not answered in an earlier post. The earlier post said that a patch had been created, but did not tell me where I can download it, which is my current question.
PS if you try and email anything of any length to the address I use for newsgroups (a hotmail address) it will bounce. You will need to get another email address from me if you want to email it rather than get me to download it.
> > If you have ReportBuilder 7.03, send an email to right
Also this is a bit annoying, since you (DM, not you personally) only seem to service support queries in the middle of the night by my time zone (GMT +10) and so every time you don't just answer a question, it adds days to the process as I repost the question and eventually get an answer. I do have a development business to run that need problems solved, on time and on a schedule. Problems that don't get resolved quickly can hold up other development and delivery . . .
Sorry, that you are in a different time zone. Digital Metaphors has an excellent track record at providing high quality tech support. But nothing is perfect. We'll keep trying.
The message that I sent to you bounced back. I now notice that you are using hotmail. Please use a registered e-mail account (i.e. not a free mail account). Digital Metaphors does not allow Hotmail accounts to be used to register software or provide support. Hotmail is used in a high volume of fraudalent activity.
Anticipating this problem, I emailed my other email address to support yesterday (when I posted the above comments here) so you could post the patch to the correct email. The email subject line is the same as this thread IIRC: 'Re: Attn Nard Mosley / DM support'.
So, so far IIRC, I think I've posted 3 requests to support for this patch and posted requests for it in two different threads in this ng. This process of requesting the patch has taken two business days plus today, and since it is now a weekend here, I expect it will take a further three days (our Monday is your Sunday).
Now, I am not maligning any particular support person. In fact your creating a patch within a couple of days of my original post is great. But to rate DM as providing excellent support, it would be good to be able to maintain the belief that someone actually reads through and processes support emails in some systematic, reliable, and even prompt manner (from my perspective it seems like a random process where some get read/replied to and others get ignored, and when replies are processed it takes more than one day). Truly great support would have had you looking up my email from your customer database and sending the patch and the workaround to me on the day you created it, and if it bounced then then getting in touch with me at that time to get another email address. Would have saved 6 days or so of time.
Looking forward to the patch by email . . . if there are any problems finding my email with my other email address, please email me on the hotmail address or post here again.
I had a bash at this, tried recompiling some of the packages and then rebuilding the project.
No success.
I guess I'll have to wait till my Tuesday / your Monday and spend a few days emailing/posting back and forth to walk through this with you and see what I'm doing wrong or need to do.

Have done. Same problem recurs.
Are you sure I don't have to rebuild some runtime/design time packages as
well?
If so, which ones?
Thanks!
