Future Functionality?

edited October 2003 in General
Hi,

Is there anywhere where we can look at what (may/may not) be included in the
next versions of Report Builder, like what Advantage Database have on their
developer web page.

This will enable companies to prepare for future functionality.

Thank in advance,

Do you have a specific question or specific functionality that you are
    interested in?

Future developement is driven based upon feedback from customers and our
    perception of the market.

    Hi Nard,

A really useful addition which is the only thing I can think of that is not
in RB is the ability to create labels on any angle and the ability to create
    a table layouts easily.

I know these have been done by 3rd party companies, but they are really
buggy and do not work correctly when viewing as an archives. I have a lot
of customers that would require these additions.

The main reason for asking is that it is nice to know what is coming up
    before it is released.

    Keep up the good work.

    Best regards,

    Thanks for the feedback.

You can currently create table layouts using the Report Wizard or the Data
Tree's drag and drop tools. Are you looking for a Grid component?

Yes, a grid component is what I am looking for as well as a rotating label.
I do use a 3rd party grid/labels but it is extremely buggy and doesn't do
your great product justice! People look at it and think it is the
underlining report engine that is the problem.

    Best regards,
