7.03 and Win98/XP

I just converted my app to use RB (was using FastReports). It works fine on
my dev PC (XP Pro) and at the customer site on their server (Win2000
server). But on the user's PCs the exe won't even start up. They use Win98
and one is on XP Home. With Win98 I get an illegal operation ..runtime
error @ 006CCD9.

XP gives one of those "send error report" dialogs.

Any ideas? I use IBObjects, Firebird, Delphi 6 Pro, RB 7.03.

Hi Dan,

This is not a known issue with ReportBuilder. Try taking ReportBuilder out
of the equation and see if the problem still exists. If it does not, the
next step would be to begin disconnecting your event handlers and just
running a minimal report on their machines to try to isolate the problem.
If you would like, you can send a copy of the application to
support@digital-metaphors.com and I can test it here on our machines.
