Grand Totals
(D5, RB 7) Just built my first report (master-detail). Got subtots working
fine but not Grand Tots.
Here is what I did. On the Main: report tab, selected ^Summary band and put
several dbCalc fields on the line (one for each grand tot I need -
corresponds to the same ones on the subreport totals line). I set the
DataPipeline and DataField to the appropriate source and field respectively.
I get the Grand Tot line printed but can't figure where the values are
coming from. I thought maybe it was just taking them from the last page of
the report - but that is not the case. I assume I don't need to do an
OnCalc stuff since the sums should be done automatically.
Any ideas?

When calculating a grand total across subreports it is best to use
TppVariables and their OnCalc events to get the best results. I've included
a small example demonstrating how this can be done. Hope this helps.
