I need a polish charset in the designer/reports. Is there a way to set this?

Thanks

    Hi Sven,

There is a Polish translation for ReportBuilder available for download from
our web site in the friends | languages section.
(http://www.digital-metaphors.com). See the ReadMe.doc file located in the
\RBuilder\Languages\... directory on how to install this resource file.

That does not change the char set! But I found a way. The problem is the
Arial font. It does not support polish character. MS Sans Serif does. So the
customer have to use this font and it will work :D

MS Sans Serif workes fine but it would be great if I can use other font too.
There must be a way to change the charset. Any ideas?

    Hi Ace,

When ReportBuilder loads, it gets all fonts associated with the printer
driver you have installed. One item that may be an issue is that when there
are more than one CharSet available, the DEFAULT_CHARSET is used to prevent
duplicate fonts from being loaded. According to the Windows API help, if
you have your computer set to use the Polish charset, then the
DEFAULT_CHARSET should work although it may be necessary to change it to
OEM_CHARSET. If you would like to see where this is done in the RB code,
please see the ppUtils.pas file in the TppFontList class.
