Losing the First Header

I have a fairly complex report which has a
GroupHeader with a subreport in it (the report
has a total of 5 subreports). One of the records
has a long subreport in the group header which
would require it to go to a new page. It doesn't
do that and, in fact, every record past that one
then refuses to print the group header band.
Any suggestions (or should I send you a sample)?
