How to create common header across reports.

edited November 2003 in General
How can I create a single common header and use it in across various
reports?
i.e. so that it can be updated in one place and then show up in the reports
without having to modify each report.
The header information is not fixed text but is driven from user entries in
database fields.

My first attempt was to merge the data into RTF, but that got rid of all the
nice formatting and layout options available for discreet fields and did not
look nearly as nice.

(I've just started writing about 50 reports for a project and round 30 of
these reports will have a common header. What's more, I will need to provide
custom headers for any who ask.)

Thanks,

Never mind. I see this has been covered many time before. The messages
were just too old to show up in OE but found when I switched to a
    machine that had XanaNews.

(Answer is to study the "3. EndUser/5. Dynamic Subreport Loading"
    example in the demo directory.)
