How to force page breaks?

edited November 2003 in General
Hi! I'm trying insert page break in simple report before printing one
region. I've proved tech-tip solution with groups, but it isn't for me. I've
single record with two hundred fields into several regions and I want print
some of those regions into separated pages. It's posible?

Thx

Diego Bas

P.D.: sorry, I know my English it's not good.

    Hi Diego,

You can try one of two things...

    1. At the point you would like the page break, set the DetailBand's (or
what ever band you are using) OutOfSpace property to True. This should
force a page break at that instant. Be careful when using this property
because if the pagination on the first pass differs from the second, the
report engine will get confused and you could get a bad report output.

    2. Place a Section style subreport where you would like the page break. A
section style subreport will by definition cause a page break

Hi Nico! I've tried your second option, but when report access data, it
generates thousands of pages and it not stop.

    Hi Diego,

Be sure all objects in your report lie within the boundaries of the margins
set. Also try setting the Report.AutoStop property to True.
