Multilanguage RBuilder

edited November 2003 in General
How can I make ReportBuilder switching dynamically (by end-user) between two
languages?

As default language I have defined Dutch, but I want to make it possible for
the end user to switch to English.
(The language preference of the end user is stored in an INI-file setting).

Freerk.

    BTW:

We use ReportBuilder Enterprise v7.02 on WinXP
All resourcefiles are available in the Windows/system32 directory,
but when I switch the ppReport.Language to a new value, nothing happens...

    Hi Freerk,

Check out the ReadMe.doc file located in the \RBuilder\Languages\...
directory for instructions on how to change the language settings of
    ReportBuilder.

    Hi Freerk,

This is not a know issue with ReportBuilder. All you should need to do is
set the Report.Language property at runtime. You have to install the
resource files (they are really dlls) to the client machine. Place them in
the Windows\System directory on the client machine. See the RBuilder.hlp
file on the Language property of the Report. Be sure the resource files are
named properly and are located in the correct directory.
