Out of Memory Error on Windows 2000 and RB 7.03

edited December 2003 in General
We are getting an "Out of Memory" Error when we attempt to print more than
one copy of a report. The report displays correctly in the preview window
and one copy prints just fine. This only occurrs when using Windows 2000. Xp
works great. Also if we compile our app with version 7.0, we do not have the
problem. We are using Delphi 6.
Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi Jerrel,

We have never seen this behavior before. Make sure you are using the latest
printer driver for the printer you are using. Also, if this is a rather
large report, you can try turning the Report Outline and Report.CachePages
off and see if that helps. If possible, please send an example of this
behavior along with the exact printer information so we can test the report
with the printer driver on our machines. Send the example to
    support@digital-metaphors.com.

I and another person had that problem with 7.03 involving reports using
bitmap images, tweaking various bitmap properties didn't solve it, reverted
back to 7.02 and the problem went away.

There is a patch available for RB 7.03 and image printing. Please send a
request to support@digital-metaphors.com if you would like to receive the
    patch.
