Print dialog all mixed up
Hi,
We developed an application that is translated with the Delphi 5 ITE. When
we use the native exe there's no problem. When we use the resource dll's,
the ReportBuilder print dialog is all mixed up: no captions anymore,
different size, ...
I included *.dfm from ReportBuilder in the resource DLL wizard and deployed
rPrint.nld and rPrint.frb with the application. I've put them in
Windows/System32 and in the application folder, both with no success.
Any suggestions?

Unfortunately you cannot use the Delphi Translation Manager to translate the
strings in the ReportBuilder forms. If you would like to use your own
translation for these forms, you will need to use the provided translation
app included in the \RBuilder\Languages\... directory. There is also a
Readme file which explains how to do this. For all other forms in your
application, you can use the Delphi translation utilities.

We have as issue that fits to the described errors concerning print
dialog (but the designer, too). We are compiling our project with
Rbuilder 11.06 and Delphi 2007.
When we start our product with Windows 7, there are no captions on
Buttons oder Labels within the printdialog or the Report Designer (Print
dialog screenshot as Attachment). Opening the software with windows xp
brings no error. When I create and compile a new project with both
components on it, there is no erro on windows 7. There is no Delphi
Translation Manager active.
Do you have any suggestions?
- Thanks in advance, André
All of the forms in RB load their strings from the RB language resources.
The only reason captions would be missing is if you use a tool that removes
the strings from the RB language resources. You said you are using
Multilizer - I would check their tech support.
This issue was sent to support@ and handled there. Please post to only a
single destrination.
