Database FF/nexus and reportbuilder upgrade (the solution?)

I think I need the old app. Save the old report in report file. Then use the
new app, create empty reports in the nexus database, read from the rpt file
and save in the DB. This may convert the datas. (for info the old
reportbuilder doesn't work on D7, nexus doesn't work on D4 and I only have
access to both versions of Delphi).
