Missing text after upgrade from RB6 to RB7
Recently I have published a new version of my application, one of the news
being an upgrade from RB6 to RB7.
To me it seems to all work flawlessly. However, I have just started
receiving reports from customers that some fields do not print after the
upgrade. They are standard DB text fields, nothing special about them. The
problem seems to appear at random, although I have not investigated it much
yet.
Any ideas?
For your information, I use RB 7.03 Enterprise. The app ships with a
standard set of reports created by me. They are all created using RB6. Since
there are differences between the RB6 and the RB7 report format, I suppose
each report is automatically converted to RB7 format each time it is used.

We have not heard of this issue before. As a test, try loading a couple of
your reports in RB 7 (converting them to the RB 7 format), then saving them
back to your database as that format. If this solves the problem, you may
need to do this for the remainder of your reports.
