New type of DBCalc

edited February 2004 in General
As we have now the Sum, Count, Avg, ... functions on a DBCalc, it would be
great to create another calc type begin PerfOf.
This could calc the PercentageOf a DBField compared to its SummarizedValue.
To make it completelly crazy (and very usefull) it would be nice to be able
to set at what group/summary the individual value shoud be evaluated to.

I know that there are techniques to accomplish this, i've posted my first
issue on this 12/Apr/2002. I quickly received the solution.

But .... it would be nice to have as a standard.

Another suggestion might be to open a new newsgroup in wich you place, as
the tech-tips the new suggestions you realy are considering.
We use a software called mssqlXpress, they have on their newsgroups this
    kind of newsgroup.
Users can not create a new post into it, just reply on posted messages by
    the company itself.

Why this, look you answered a nice 'Thx for the suggestion', ik know that
this is the polite way of working, but afterwards we realy don't know if you
take this seariously or that developpers are taking a look into it. This
forum/newsgroup shouldn't be boun, i mean not every suggestion can be
realized, but there we would know why not, if an explanation is available
or, as soon as the post on the forum is there, we know that somebody is
    having a look into it.

    That would be great CRM.

    Hi Harry,

At Digital Metaphors, we are always happy to receive customer feedback and
suggestions for future enhancements to ReportBuilder. All of these comments
are taken very seriously. If we find that there have been numerous separate
requests made for a certain feature, it will definitely be considered for a
future release. Please continue to provide us with suggestions and feedback
as it is very helpful to us.
