column reprints on new page
hi
I am using report builder 7.03 pro
my report is split into 3 columns.
I have grouped a sub-report to a custom field.
When the column gets to the bottom of the page, it will then contiunue that
group on the next column.
However, if a group is starting in the 3rd column and goes onto the next
page, then the entire group is redrawn from start on the new page.
eg.
CORRECT
Group Header
name1
name2
name3
name4
----> next column
Group Header
name5
name6
----> this is correct, how I want it to print.
WRONG
Group Header
name1
name2
name3
name4
------> next page
Group Header
name1
name2
name3
name4
name5
name6
-----> This is incorrect, I do no want the group to reprint in full
So how do I stop this from happening and make it act the same way as if the
new page was just a new column print.

In my testing, I was unable to recreate this behavior. I created a very
simple customer-orders report grouped on the customer ID and formated to
show three columns. When data in the third column broke to the next page, I
never had the issue of the entire group reprinting. Please provide more
information on how to recreate this behavior or perhaps send a small example
demonstrating this to support@digital-metaphors.com.
