new q's

edited April 2004 in General
sorry, new to RB, couple of q. please.

1. Is there an event that fires at the end of printing each report,
in-between when I print multiple copies (i.e. PrinterSetup.Copies = 3) ?
2. I see a Page Header and Page Footer. Is there a Report Header/Footer
that would only print once per report, rather than on each page?
3. I previously used Ace Reporter. There was a 3rd Party Package for
exporting to Excel, RTF, JPG, etc. I know there are a couple of them
available for RB. Which is the BEST!?

TIA,

Maybe I messed up on #2. It appears that there are headers/footers for the
report, but what about for the page?

    Hi Kumar,

    Thank you for trying ReportBuilder.

    1. Unfortunately you cannot use the Report.OnAfterPrint when trying to fire
an event between copies. The Report.OnPageEnd will however fire in between
copies. You could put some logic inside this event to determine whether it
is the last page in the report ( if Report.PageNo = Report.PageCount then)
to determine if the current copy is complete.

    2. There is a Report Summary and Report Title band available by selecting
to show them in the Report menu option in the designer.

    3. There are currently three third party export utilities available for
ReportBuilder. My suggestion would be to try each one to find out which one
    suits your needs the best.
