Problem with group on sub report

I have a report with one group. I just group on a "client code" data field
(actually not the field its self just the TDBText object). I just show the
group header followed by the detail lines.

This works fine on a simple report by itself but if I do this on a sub
report then only the first group header prints and all detail lines just
show below that. If I add a group footer I get the first group header, all
detail lines and then the last group footer.

Anyone know what is going on here ?
