TeeChart Version

edited May 2004 in General
Howzit,
Using TeeChart v6.01 with RB Enterprise v7.03.
What is the latest version (exact version number) of TeeChart that is
supported by ReportBuilder, and which version of ReportBuilder supports it?
Regards,
Gilbert Grant

I'm using the same combination as you mentioned, but i had to rebuild
    the TeeChart packages of RB7.03.

But, and i know that the support guys won't like this part of my
reply, The combination is not always stable, there are several people
    having occasionally problems with it.

I'm one of them, but now i create all the charts in rap-passtrough,
    no more problems !!!!

Did not have these problems - as I generally rebuild the stuff anyway. Don't
seem to have stability problems either. What is RAP passthrough? I was just
looking at upgrading to TeeChart 7.

    Hi Gilbert,

In the ReportBuilder help file, if you navigate to the ReportBuilder
Reference | TeeChart | Delphi X |... section, you will see a list of
compatable versions of TeeChart for the version of ReportBuilder you are
using. TeeChart 6.01 was released just days after we released RB 7.03 so
you would need to rebuild to get that version to work. I personally have
been using TeeChart 7.0 with ReportBuilder 7.03 for about a month now
without problems (after the initial pain of rebuilding the packages and
changing the source). Many of our customers have requested these rebuilt
packages so they too can use TeeChart 7 and RB 7.03. If you would like
them, I can send them to you. Just send a small e-mail to
    support@digital-metaphors.com requesting them.

    Nico,

Thanks, re-building is not a problem for me. If v7 of TeeChart was not
supported I would not have considered buying it.

    Gilbert
