rsGIFImage??

edited May 2004 in General
When I add a Delphi TImage (additional palette) to my project, then add a
GIF image to the picture property, rsGIFImage appears in my uses clause.
That's a file that ships with ReportBuilder. What's its purpose when
Reportbuilder isn't present?

    Hi Todd,

Delphi does not natively support gif images. There is a freeware component
available named TGIFImage available for anyone who would like to use it.
Since the use of gif images is required for the server edition of
ReportBuilder, we went ahead and included this and registered it in Delphi
for you (with a different name so as not to conflict with anyone who already
    had it installed).
