several (sub)reports as one.

edited May 2004 in General
Hi
I have almost the same problem of "Multiple Reports" mail. I have
several amount of data (sections) and several models of layouts. I have to
print all of it as only one report.

For example:
Section 1 - print on model A
Section 2 - print on model B
Section 3 - print on model A
Section 4 - print on model A
Section 5 - print on model C, .... (the sections and the type of model
is in a DB)

I dont know how many sections I had to print, wich models I will print,
re-use, and so on.
All print has to appears like only one report.

How can I do this?

    Hi Fred,

Your going to want to use Section Style Subreports to create this type of
report. Each section can be connected to a different dataset to collect
data. This type of subreport is designed to act like an independent report
inside the main report and is specifically used to combind multiple reports
as one. I would start by dynamically creating each subreport based on how
many sections you have. Then positioning them in the detail band of the
    main report.
