Installing 6.03 and 7.03 at the same time

edited May 2004 in General
I have some customers on older versions of a product that uses 6.03. I
also have a new version of the product that uses 7.03. Updating the
customers on the older version isn't feasable.

Has anyone had success having both RB603 and RB703 installed on the
same development workstation at the same time? Then I could specify
which version of RB to use in each of my project files.

Thanks

    Hi Jon,

This is possible if you install each version of ReportBuilder with a
different version of Delphi. For instance, you could have RB 6.03 for
Delphi 6 installed and RB 7.03 for Delphi 7 installed at the same time
without problem. I currently have RB 7.03 for Delphi 5, 6, and 7
    simultaneously installed on my machine.

I was needing 6.03 and 7.03 versions installed in Delphi 6 at the same
time. Of course they both can't be loaded/active at the same time.

If I get a chance, I'll give it a shot anyway. I've had luck with
other products. I posted here hoping some would share some tips that
would save me time and headache. :)
