Logical pagesize

edited July 2004 in General
Hello,

is it possible to tell reportbuilder a logical pagesize A5, but on a real
papersize of A4.

The reason:
i wont to printout on a real A4 paper two A5 pages of a report. The engine
should number the logical pages from 1..n (each number increments on each
logical page). All behavoir should be so, as the paper is only A5. That
means an paper eject should anly be after an evenpage number. Also i need a
dynamic detail band.

(physical page is A4)
----------

A4

----------

(the A4 page holds two logical A5)
----------

A5
-----
A5

----------

best regards
chris

    Hi Chris,

Unfortunately I do not believe there is a way to make this work with a
dynamic detail band. Defining the difference between the actual paper size
and logical page size would be a cool feature, perhaps for a later release.
If you were to use a static detail band you could size it to A5 paper and
keep track of the page numbers manually.
