Known Problems with TppRegion.KeepTogether Property?

edited July 2004 in General
Are there any known problems with the TppRegion.KeepTogether property?

I have a region containing one label and one memo component. I've set
KeepTogether for the region to True. However, the page still splits in
between the label and the memo component.

Any advice or ideas?

Thanks!

    Hi David,

Which version of ReportBuilder/ Delphi are you using? There are no known
issues like this one with the TppRegion in the current version of
ReportBuilder. In my testing just now, I was able to create a keeptogether
region that worked correctly. Remember that if the regions stretches beyone
the complete size of a single page, it is forced to print on a new page.

Delphi 7 Standard. ReportBuilder 7.03. I've confirmed that the regions that
are splitting can indeed easily fit on a single page. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

Are you sure that the components are actually "in" the region as opposed
    to "on" the region.

Use View | Toolbars | Report Tree

    to investigate.

Yes, I've confirmed (using the Report Tree) that each of the controls in
question is actually in its respective region. Any other ideas?

    Hi David,

I am unable to recreate this behavior on my machine. If possible please put
together a small example using only native Delphi and ReportBuilder
components and the DBDEMOS database if you need, and send it to
    support@digital-metaphors.com in .zip format. Thanks.
