Space Between Lines

edited July 2004 in General
How do I prevent the small gap taht seems to be created whenever a
subreport needs to wrap onto a new page. On the left side of my
subreport is a line that parentheight is true, parent width is true,
type lpLeft this way i know there is always a straight line on the left
of that entire subreport. On the bottom of page 1 of the subreport
still has more to print on page 2 there will be a gap liks this

|
_______ <---- just like that

the bottom line does not touch the bottom of the leff line. The
subreport seems to know it can't fit another row of data so it changes
pages, but it doesnt seem to finish the line that should go all the way
to the footer. How can I get around this so the lines meet?

    Hi Chris,

Which band are you printing the bottom line? Try disabling the FooterBand
and see if that helps. If you are trying to create a page border, you might
try using the Page Style band. This band prints behind the report on each
page so no gap will be seen.

of behind? I have a watermark type thign that I want to overlay over
    everything.

    Hi Chris,

Unfortunately the PageStyle band can only be printed behind the mail report
objects. If you would like a consistant object on top of the main report
objects you will either need to place this component in a position so it
shows up on each page or create a drawcommand manually and place it on each
page once the report has generated.
