How to use a PDF file inside ReportBuilder report?

edited July 2004 in General
Hi,

Could you, please, advise on the best ways to use an existing PDF file
inside a ReportBuilder report?

Thanks,
Alex Ginzburg

    Hi Alex,

Unfortunately there is no direct way to display PDF information inside a
report. If you could somehow convert the PDF file into RichText or a WMF
file, you could then display this information inside the TppRichText or
    TppImage component.

    Hi Nico,

    Thank you for the answer.

Do you know a tool to convert PDF files to RTF without loosing the page
layout and look of a PDF page?
I tried to find one but all of them seem to change the positions of text or
lines or images relative to the original page itself...

As for WMF, I thought about it also, but I'm afraid the speed of report
based on the whole page WMF file will not be good enough. Though it will be
vector graphics, not raster it will still print worse (speed and quality)
    than the text itself.

    I'd appreciate your answer.

    Thanks in advance.

    Alex
