columned report
What would be the best method to create a report like the following
It shows a resource name on the left side and then a column for each day
of the week and what is using that resource for that day in each cell.
Resource Name Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Etc...
Resource1 Event1 Event5 Event3 Event7
Event5
Resource2 Event3 Event5
Can it be done with columns? seeing how each column is not the same the
label column is a different type? Also it must go left to right if the
query works off the resource, but it doesnt seem to break correctly
because you want the detail to go off the resource query not the event
query. Any suggestions?

You may try GridPack for ReportBuilder at http://www.planit-tech.com

You might try setting your TppDetailBand.ColumnTraversal property to
ctLeftToRight so the data will traverse across the columns instead of down
them. Then you could possibly add column headers in the page header band.

What about the resource labels to the left of the columns?
Check out the following example I created for another customer who wanted a
horizontal column header and footer. You may be able to use this as a
starting point for your report.
