Field not found for .rtm

edited October 2004 in General
Suppose there is A.rtm with pipelineA and AdoQuery A. I open the A.rtm and
save as B.rtm and then reset the datapipeline for each dbcontrol and the
B.rtm itself in the report to use pipeline B and set pipeline B dataset to
AdoQuery B. But when I load the B.rtm, there is a error message like
"ADOQuery A: Field 'xxx' not found'
Question 1) Why the report seems still to connect to ADOQuery A?
I am certain that I have reset all dbcontrol and report to use Pipeline B.
Question 2) Also, is it allow to use such Save As method to quickly create a
new report (.rtm)?

    Hi Kei,

    1. Are you certain you saved the B.rtm file after you made all the changes
to it? Also be sure you changed the Report | Data option to the second
datapipeline in the B template. In my testing with two different
datapipelines and two different templates, one created by selecting save as
on the other, everything seemed to work correctly.

    2. Yes, this is the purpose of the Save As feature.
