VCL.NET and FCL
> A ReportBuilder for VCL .NET has been in the works for quite some time.
You got to support vcl.net and fcl NOW or soon as possible, or you will
loose clients slowly, but surely. Even worse when D9 will be out. We already
have D8 at out firm and alredy have infopower and DevExpress components,
only one missing is RB, we were waiting, but with quotes like this,
everybody will turn for something else for reporting i.e.: Rave or Crystal
and wont look back again. You wont even see it coming, and when you realise
it, it will be too late.
With D9 or Delphi 2005 everybody will have the tools in hand to prepare
their project for both support Win32 and Vcl.Net with the same source

i am not from DM, but speek for our company. We have some same experience on
.NET. Our main application has more then 2 million lines of pascal code. All
tests with Delphi 8 and .NET are very poor in all results. So i can feel
with DM and those words. For my opinon, the platform .NET/D8 is more for
smaller applications.
So we have to wait for better support on D10 i think.
