Wordwrap Problem

edited November 2004 in General
Hi,

I have this strange wordwrap problem happening in RB 7.04.

I have labels with two words, that appear correct in design time. (See
http://www.wsd.net.au/debug/design.jpg )

However, when I run the report in runtime, the labels don't wrap between the
words, but rather, wrap when it reaches the end of it's limit (half way
through a word). (See http://www.wsd.net.au/debug/run.jpg)

Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

How can I get it to behave how I want in design time?

Thanks & Regards

Adam Hair.

    Hi Adam,

I am unable to recreate this behavior on my machine. Is there anything else
you are doing to these labels besides setting the wordwrap property to True?
Perhaps you could send me a simple example I could run on my machine.
Please send the example in .zip format to support@digital-metaphors.com.

    Hi Nico,

I've emailed you a copy of a sample, which does the same thing.

    Cheers

    Adam.

    Hi Nico,

Thanks for your email, regarding the charwrap property.

As a suggestion - are you planning on implementing the charwrap property
into the designer as well (to make the report wysiwyg?)

    Thanks & Regards

    Adam Hair.

    Hi Adam,

Thanks for the feedback. I believe this feature was added on the fly for a
specific customer so it was never really fully implemented. I will look
into showing its effects in the designer for a later release of RB.
