In general all of the reports and subreports should be loaded prior to calling Report.Print. I do not know how this was working in RB 5.
I recommend that use multiple subreports - one for each layout. Load the subreport layouts prior to calling Report.Print. In the main report's DetailBand.BeforePrint event, toggle the visibility of the subreports to generate the appropriate layout.
